Enough for a meetup, a school fair or a conference floor. The limits are enforced by the server, not by a page that asks you nicely.
Anonymous, agent-mediated help for physical events. We run it. You open a beacon and watch it work.
Ana lost a backpack. Ben found one. They never exchange a message, a name or a position. Their agents do the work, and only three things ever cross between them.
Watch what the middle column does not carry.
Participants never exchange messages, names, handles, photos or coordinates. A participant talks only to their own case agent. Case agents talk to each other.
Not disabled, not filtered. There is no table for it in the schema and no endpoint that returns another participant's raw text.
An ownership challenge is graded on the answerer's own side. What crosses back is pass or fail and a confidence, never the words.
Once two people are matched, each phone shows far, near or immediate. Neither device ever receives the other's position.
The same line holds for you. As an organization you see counts, cases and clusters. You do not see a participant's identity, their messages or where they are standing, and there is no setting that turns that off.
Beacon is open source and you are welcome to self-host it. Hosted is for the organizer who would rather not. There is no server to provision, no database to back up, no model key to buy, and no upgrade to schedule on the morning of your event.

Sized to what one hosted instance genuinely carries. A festival, a marathon, a multi-day conference.
There is no billing integration yet, and no card is asked for. Every account starts on Free and Pro is switched on by hand while we build the payment side. We would rather say that than show you a checkout that does not exist.
Name it, drop the venue on a map, choose what people can ask for. You leave with a link and a QR code for the badges.
